St Jammes Churchyard

St James Churchyard Maintenance

It is a well known fact that St. James' Churchyard is always kept neat and tidy. This is thanks to a small band of volunteers who regulary mow and strim the grass and carry out a many other tasks.

This work is boosted by our frequent working parties which we hold throughout the growing season, usually on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings, but please check details on our diary page.

Our first working party for 2008 will be held on 8 th March at 9.30.

We already have a few new volunteers but to ease our workload we are looking for more, in particular to help mow the grass during the week.

If you would like to learn more about what is involved, why not call into Church on Saturday morning 8th March from 9.30 onwards ?

Members of our Fabric group will be there to tell you what is involved.
If you decide to help, we will be able to give advice and training in the safe operation of garden machinery.

We look forward to seeing you on the 8th March.
